Strava: End Of Year
Taking athletes inside the inner workings of Strava to celebrate their efforts.
Project overview
This was our second time working on Strava's personalised end of year films. In 2016, the stats got even crazier, the measurements more meticulous, and the community hungrier than ever for insights.
We wanted to play with this by taking people into the app’s ‘inner workings’. To reveal how the magic happens. This imagined place was styled with the materials of sporting apparel and equipment - from stitched leather to brushed titanium.
But rather than behaving predictably, these various contraptions were more like Rube Goldberg machines. Brought to life by the wonderful talents of Pandayoghurt and Stink Studios, each personalised stat or insight was delivered in a new and surprising way.
